Job Description
We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented person to join the team as our PR Account Coordinator with interest to grow into an Account Executive. Initially this individual will offer administrative support to w/sara’s account executives and support various projects for w/sara clients. The position is part time with the potential to grow and is 100% remote.
This professional will be primarily responsible for assisting senior team members with day-to-day account tasks, such as:
- General administrative tasks
- Creation and distribution of press materials and other related collateral
- Media placement monitoring and logging, monthly client reporting
- Research relevant media including digital, magazine, broadcast, podcasts and social media (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube)
- Research market trends to develop creative business and consumer pitch topics that effectively tell our client’s story
- Ability to write press releases and prepares information for the media to promote clients.
- An interest in pitch development and active media outreach for clients is a bonus.
- Influencer management: research, outreach, negotiation, reporting
- Social media posts and content creation on @_withsarapr including weekly coverage recaps, story highlights, etc.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, Journalism- Previous agency experience (internship or otherwise)- Media relations/client service experience
- Ability to juggle multiple accounts and competing priorities successfully.
- Strong time management skills.
- The drive to stretch your skills across industry verticals.
- A pulse on the industry, trends, and a constant desire to consume media in the appropriate fields.
- Ability to identify when to manage problems up to the appropriate team members.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
